The Jane Austen Society of North America is an international, non-profit, volunteer
organization dedicated to the enjoyment and appreciation of Jane Austen and her writing.
JASNA is made up of many
regional groups
that create their own local activities as well as participate in JASNA-sponsored programs.
Our members (about 4,000 in North America) come from all ages and backgrounds. Some are students and
scholars, but most simply enjoy reading and talking about Jane Austen. We share a love of Austen and
a delight in getting together with others to learn about and to celebrate her writings, life and times.

All of JASNA’s Canadian regions
also belong to JASNA (Canada).
